You do sound like a market apologist. Free markets cannot work in healthcare because the seller, that is the doctor or Hospital is also the decision maker. The buyer that is the patient can refuse a doctor's prescription or plan but that is very dangerous since most people don't know more about medical care than their doctors do. That's why prices have to be regulated
