Very brave of you to post this story, vincent. Can't relate completely because of class differences, but I am chronically ill for the last 30 years, and my wife says she can completely relate. We kept our relationship together with polyamory, therapy, plus it sounds like your ex-wife's attitude was more depressed than mine. My wife rarely enables me; she leaves me to find my own way and that helps. I do wonder why you didn't hire care help, when it seems you could have afforded it.
