This is so beautiful and powerful. I think part of the problem is that the left is so weak in both Israel and the United States. mostly just talking and holding non-violent protest while our governments and societies move farther and farther to the right. Until now they are both basically fascist countries. So it starts to seem important to have the right position every time not so much to connect with each other and be effective. Situation feels awful and is so easily exploited by our rulers. I observed that isrraeli government did nothing to stop the attacks of October 7th. I think they wanted to create the reaction that we're all seeing.
