If you only blame population or if you ignore population you are wrong, and we need to do both as I think you are trying to do. It's very difficult conversation. Chinese Communist Party adopted one child policy which led to their vast Improvement in living standards and almost elimination of poverty. But was it good for the environment; was it sustainable? Population control by itself is obviously not enough.
