Thanks Indi. I've been saying for years representative democracy as practiced in the West (and places like India) doesn't work and can't work. Too easy to buy the representatives, who then become tyrants themselves. Plus, too hard to make big changes required by crises like global warming. Aristotle's lottery system would be an interesting alternative.
