Thank you for your well thought out reply. Interesting you asked about my age. I am 73. I felt the same way when I was 19, but when I was your age I was much more involved in supporting candidates. Barack Obama cured me of that. When he got elected with huge majorities in the Senate and House and a wave of popularity, and then nothing changed. I realize now more than I did when I was 19, that it doesn't make any difference who gets elected. The policies will not change. But given that even, I cannot vote for someone who supports genocide enthusiastically the way Trump and Harris both do. I have friends in Gaza and it would be a betrayal. I'm voting for Jill Stein or Claudia De La Cruz as protest vote. I'm afraid not much good can happen in the world unless the United States loses its economic and military power over 60% of the world. And that will involve a tremendous amount of pain for those of us who live here. It's not our fault but I'm afraid we need to go through it or everyone will die. BTW, thanks for recommending that film about the girl and her monster. My wife and I got a lot out of it.
