I think I disagree about agriculture being a disaster. I seriously doubt agricultural instruments were used to genocide the native Americans or conquer Asia. Those were industrial implements. I think regenerative agriculture is a good thing, BUT as Octavia Butler wrote, humanity's combination of intelligence and hierarchy is a fatal contradiction.
You may be right about AI, but right now the machines are totally reliant on their human operating systems. If they go independent, it will have to be because humans programmed them to. Long-dead programmers as Gods of the robot universe?
