Good explanation of the dam breaking. But it seems like you're missing the real reason the Fed is printing all this money and giving it to banks and investment companies. They are covering all the bad debts and reckless financial schemes of Wall Street. They won't let their super-rich friends lose, so investors keep doubling down on nonproductive investments, knowing the Fed will pay them back. IDK; they may believe they are promoting full employment, but the real reason is pure graft.
